Virtual Justice Forum featuring Jasmeet Sidhu
It's been a while since we last convened, and we'd like to take some time to continue the important discussion around our support of the Black community and combating racial injustice. Please join us for another forum during which we will discuss and educate ourselves on how members of the SABA-DC community can help effect meaningful change. We are excited to be joined by Jasmeet Sidhu, Senior Researcher at Amnesty International US, and a lifelong human rights activist, attorney, and advocate. Most recently, Jasmeet led important research into the right to protest, which resulted in a report entitled USA: The World is Watching - Mass Violations by U.S. Police of Black Lives Matter Protesters' Rights. Find that important research here. When: Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 4pm Where: Zoom link to be emailed to registrants by 3pm on 8/27
