May Dinner Series: Conversation with Law School Professor and Supreme Court Fellow Dave Sidhu

Professor Sidhu will discuss how to become a law professor as he has gone through the process himself and has served on his law school's appointments committee.  He will also speak about his fellowship as a Supreme Court Fellow at the U.S. Sentencing Commission.

Professor Sidhu teaches and writes in the areas of constitutional law, criminal law, national security, and civil rights.  He has particular interest in the rights of Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim after 9/11, the rights of post-9/11 detainees, the religious rights of prisoners, and the relationship between the Constitution and urban poverty.

Titles: Supreme Court Fellow at the U.S. Sentencing Commission, Adjunct Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center, Assistant Professor of Law at the University of New Mexico School of Law.
